Make up a story.
Children love hearing stories or making up their own.

Presidents of the United States Educational Activity:
Make your own memory game.
You will need a package of index cards and a pen or marker.
First, write the names of the Presidents on an index card using one name per card. Next, write the date the president was in office on another card.
For example, one card will say: President Bill Clinton. The card with the date will say 1992-2000. Do this for each of the presidents and the dates they served in office.
Now you are ready to play President’s Memory Game. In the beginning when the children are still learning the dates each of the presidents served in office, only place 4 Presidents and 4 cards with the date they served in office down. Each time the children play, add another set of cards. Before you know it, they will have all the presidents and they year they served in office memorized.
