My Experience with Melissa and Doug Floor Puzzles:

Lately she was doing such a good job mastering the puzzle that I decided to give her another Melissa and Doug Floor Puzzle. I gave her the Underwater Melissa and Doug Floor Puzzle. She was so excited! She loved the fish and the challenge of a new puzzle. She has been working hard completing the puzzle. She is putting the floor puzzles together several times a day!

It is only two days later and my daughter is still on a roll working hard loving these puzzles! I can't help but give her another puzzle. This afternoon we opened the USA Map Floor Puzzle. She was again so excited to get another puzzle!

This floor puzzle seems a bit more challenging than the other 48 piece puzzles. You have to first complete the edge of the puzzle with interlocking pieces. Next, a few of the smaller states are grouped together but for the most part they are individual.

Here are a few things we talked about as we completed the floor puzzle:

• color of each of the states
• where the state was located
• picture on the state
• first letter of the state
• who we knew that lived in that state
• capital of the state
• states we have visited

This United States of America Floor Puzzle gives children the opportunity to learn hands on about the states and capitals. We are looking forward to completing this puzzle again tomorrow.

We have really enjoyed doing these Melissa and Doug Floor Puzzles! I would highly recommend this puzzle for any family or school.
