First Picture Book Math
I just love the bright and vibrant colors on the soft pastel background of this picture book. They really hold the children's attention. Personally, I think this book is one of my favorites!
You can sit down with your children and teach them how to count, how to identify numbers, and the concept of 1 to 1 correspondence. You can teach problem solving skills along with a review of the concept of more and less. You can be busy talking about Math for a long time!
I am looking forward to again reading this First Picture Book with my girls. They always love it!
First Picture Word Book
This book would make an excellent first mini dictionary for your children! It will teach them words related to parts of their bodies, clothes, items around the home, food, animals, seasons, colors and so much more The black text causes the words to just pop off the page, making them easy for children to memorize.
After you read the book, you may want to type up a few of the words and place them on the refrigerator. I am sure your children will memorize them before you know it.
First Picture Nature Book
Turn your visit to the park or beach into a lesson by following it up with a good book about Nature! Look no further; the First Picture Nature Book is for you!
This first picture book can help you teach your children about seasons, weather, birds, the pond, flowers, bugs, trees and life under the sea.
I would highly recommend this book for teachers teaching children about nature and the four seasons.
First Picture Numbers Book
This First Picture Numbers Book is perfect for teaching your children numbers. The book is well organized with fun and colorful examples, which will be easy for your children to understand as you and they practice counting together. The boldly printed numbers, along with their names, jump right out of the page.
First Picture Nursery Rhymes Book
First Picture Nursery Rhymes is the same as first picture First Picture Nursery Rhymes CD just without the CD. It includes the same darling stories. This is a very classic book!
First Picture ABC Book
I really enjoyed this book! I think it is perfect for teaching my daughters their ABC's. The book is filled with 150 words that start with the different letters of the alphabet.
The book's colorful illustrations really hold my girls attention. It will make an excellent first reader for my four year old. We are also looking forward to using it to practice writing words, since she can copy the words right from the book.
First Picture Animals Book
Don't let the orangutan on the cover of this book scare you! We had a lot of fun reading about all the animals in this book. It was a great opportunity to talk about animals and where they are live.
First Picture Animals Book teaches children about pets, farm animals, animals of the rainforest, fish, spiders and bugs.
My daughter loved reading about her favorite, the elephant. The book teaches children how the elephants use their trunks. They also incorporate math by asking questions like, "How many zebras can you spot?" It was very informative. I must say; I was impressed.
First Picture Dinosaurs Book
This first picture book is a must read for Dinosaur lovers! This book will make it easy for you to teach your children facts about the dinosaurs that you might not have memorized.
While reading this book, you will have the opportunity to teach your children some great vocabulary words. For example, the book teaches children about Giant Dinosaurs. It also shows them other synonyms for enormous, such as "biggest" and "giant".
First Picture Action Rhymes Book
Unfortunately, I can't always remember the fun action rhymes during the day. This book is an excellent resource to have.
We had so much fun reading this book! It was a great way to combine playtime and reading. My girls really enjoyed the learning the actions to each of these darling songs and singing along.
