Using Baby Flashcards in Play

Have fun with the baby flashcards! You may choose to sort the flashcards into groups so it tells a story.

Story telling is a great way to get kids ready for reading. The flashcards make it a fun way to tell story tell with your children.

You can sort the cards several different ways to make lots of stories. My daughter grouped the photos by things for the man, woman, animals, boy, girl. We had the boy playing with the train, plane and animals. My daughter pretended teh mom went to work selling books and toys of course! The baby had the dress, bear and shoes.

Next, we used the flashcards and sorted them by colors and the letter they started with. It was like a whole new game. We had so much fun playing with the baby flashcards reading and learning!

We played with the cards for almost an hour straight! I am sure you will love the flashcards as much as we do. We have two packages first words and babies. We are looking forward to opening another box in a few weeks.

Here my daughter lined the up the flashcards in a special order. She had all these great ideas of fun ways to sort the flashcards. The flashcards are a huge hit!
